Description
Here's an updated digital version of the first piece in the series:See the rest of the Shippuuden series here:
This is the third installment of my Shippuuden series. I know all of my friends here really like this little series I'm working on and I hope that everyone will like this one too! I drew this with a V5 Pentel black ink pen and colored it with Prismacolor pencils.
Just like the last few, there's sort of a story to what's going on in the picture. You can read what each character is thinking/saying below. Umm... a lot of these jokes you might not get unless you are a gamer. But I hope everyone gets a good laugh anyways!
ROCK LEE: "I'm in your base, killing your dudes."
PAKKUN: "Gaara, you really should turn off "God-mode..."
GAARA: "Blog this! Bitches!"
NARUTO: "Headshot! Believe it!"
SASUKE: "I'd rather be playing Hello Kitty's Cube Frenzy."
SHIKAMARU: "How troublesome... knock it off, you cardfloppers... all that card tapping is totally throwing me off my game."
GAMATATSU: "What's the answer to life, the universe and everything?"
GAMAKICHI: "00101010 of course!"
SAKURA: "There's no place like 127.0.0.1"
NEJI: "I pwn all the noobs! It's fate."
*Memory flash back time*
This picture is sort of based on a true story from my life. I used to go to a lot of LAN (Local Area Network) parties with my gamer friends. But as always, the gamer girl of the group usually gets left out of all the fun and I'd get stuck watching tv because they didn't bring an extra computer for me...
A long time ago there was a guy I was dating and his grandmother was moving to a new house. Apparently she had already paid for the next month's rent on the appartment she was moving out of. She said that we could use it for that whole month if we wanted, so a large mob of gamers took over the appartment. This picture is basically what it looked like.
We crammed computers in every possible place imaginable! I always got left out (even though I'm a great gamer) and so I would always bring a Playstation 1 and take over the tv. That was back when I first bought the game The Legend of Dragoon and Jade Cocoon. Occationally the guys would challenge me to a game of Tekken 3 or Distrega but normally they were always playing among themselves in Starcraft or Unreal Tournament.
I mostly made this drawing because it reminds me of many amusing/nerdy memories.
*Memory flash back over*
For those of you interested, you can see the uncolored ink version of Shippuuden at a LAN Party here: [link]
Oh and yes, the drinks next to Sasuke is the awesome soda "Bawls!" The popular drink among nerds and the official drink of Quakecon! Soooo tasty...
Hehehe... Sasuke drinks Bawls.

I must ask, does it take you long to fully color a picture like this?

Yeah it takes a while, maybe a couple of days. But I'm not really sure because I never just work on something consistantly. I usually get distracted by video games...

Hehehe, I knew you'd especially get a kick out of this one! Now I need to start planning for part 4, I've already got a cute concept in my head. But I wonder how many people will get all of the jokes in my quotes? I doubt anyone will get my joke between Gamatatsu and Gamakichi unless they can read binary and really know their stuff about scifi... even though binary is super easy to learn.
Ah, there was so much nostalgia running through my head while making this. It was great. I was always the one in Sakura's place and the guy I was dating was usually in Sasuke's place (while nervously chain smoking and sitting in funny positions like L).
Thanks for the fav!

By any chance did you get my binary joke? Other than myself, there's only one other person who I know for a fact can read binary here. That would be my old Job Corps room mate ~Saya1984 , I know that because we learned binary together in the same computer class.

Well the binary numbers I wrote say "42" and if you've ever read the trilogy of "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" you'd understand this stupid nerdy joke.

He murdered one of my friends, stabbed him 77 times in the head and neck. I wish he had gotten a longer sentance, but at least he won't be getting out until he's over 50 years old. He'll miss the best years of his life.

Don't worry, it happened back in 2002 so I've had time to get over it. Although it was one of my very close friends that was murdered. It was the first murder in my town in over 20 years, me and a couple of friends found out about it before his parents even knew about it. That's because we were listening to a police scanner and heard it being reported to the station. The guy who killed him claimed that "Jesus told him to do it."

don't mind religious people..but I AM sick of christians telling me "we can save you" "god loves you!"

Not all religious people are bad, but most of them are insufferably irritating. All that stuff annoys me too, but the one thing they do more than anything else that really bugs me is when they walk up to me, I'm minding my own business and they say "Don't look so sad, smile!" For crying out loud... do I have to smile every second of the day? Just because I'm not smiling doesn't mean I'm not happy, I rarely smile unless there is a reason for it. If I smiled all the time it would be a fake smile and I would not be happy...

That's annoying, just because I don't have a god doesn't mean I automatically must believe in satan... Although I do have a copy of the Satanic bible because it's interesting, but it doesn't mean I believe in it.
