Here's an updated digital version of the first piece in the series:See the rest of the Shippuuden series here:
This time the Shippuuden Naruto characters are at the prom and that's why I didn't draw them in their original costumes (it wouldn't have made much sense). I'm sorry I couldn't cram in as many characters in this picture as I did with the last one. But I hope you enjoy it just the same! I drew this using a V5 Precise pen and I colored everything with Prismacolor pencils.
Finally, you can read what each character is thinking below:
Tsunade: "This was the WRONG day to wear green."
Rock Lee: "Apparently hard work does pay off."
Sai: "I like big butts and I cannot lie. You other brothers (who lack penis) can't deny."*
Hinata: "Naruto will have to notice me this time!"
Temari: "Since when were you such a romantic, Shikamaru?"
Shikamaru: "Since I set eyes on you, my love."
Naruto: "Wow, Hinata is really booty-poppin'!"
Gamakichi: "Hey Naruto, when did Hinata become such a fox?"
Gamatatsu: "Almost there..."
Gaara: "Busted..."
Jiraiya: "Simmer down kid, I won't get you in trouble if you give me a shot."
Sakura: "This sucks, why didn't Sasuke ask me to the prom?"
Ino: "Sasuke is such a dark, sultry and mysterious loner. I must have him!"
Sasuke: "Yeah, I'm gellin'."
*this is my joke on the song "Baby Got Back," by Sir Mix-a-Lot (1992).

I've actually never drawn a picture based on a song. Although I did poke fun at a song in this, but that was an after thought when I finished the picture and just needed to make up some amusing quotes.

Sports day might be cool! Or you could try EOY Day (EOY day is a the last day before the summer holdidays. (EOY = End Of Year) We celebrate it at my school. There's no lessons and it's only a half day. We all get to wear our own clothes and there's big raffles and competitions and sweets and pop on sale. It's dead fun. Everybody kinda uses it to get down addresses' and phone numbers and organise beach parties. My mates and I tend to wear something really wacky (That we love to wear) and not care what anyone says. Some of the Year Elevens come into school for one last time too! It's really fun! - I think I might draw a pic like it actually!

Someone else also suggested sports, but the thing is... I don't know crap about sports! Come on, I'm a geek! I always skipped the last day of school so I don't really know what went on during that day either. Argh! But I've already got a couple of ideas in mind, so don't worry. I'm not out of ideas, I've got plenty to fall back on. But I do like hearing the suggestions people throw at me, occationally I hear a few that I absolutely MUST make! But you should give it a shot and make the one you said you'd like to do. That'd be cool!

I don't really like sports and again I don't know a thing about them so I wouldn't be able to make up an obstacle course out of my imagination. I wouldn't be able to make it funny either.

I don't know, the whole idea of sports just doesn't sound like a fun theme for me to draw... You're a good artist, you could always try and do it if you really want it! I've got some good themes in mind already, it's just a matter of time till I get around to actually doing them.

I think you should give it a shot! Your style is cute, it doesn't look like you do much stuff that has massive amount of characters though, but I'm sure if you really wanted to you could do it. I started doing my Shippuuden series just so I could get over my fear of mass group pictures.
Sorry but I really don't want to do a sports theme and I don't do collabs. Collabs just never interested me...

yeah, i absolutly llllllooooooooovvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeee 2 draw anime and i love 2 make my own series and ppl. i dnt know why but i would have 2 say that im not really that creative when it comes 2 drawing my own anime ppl. but i get a good idea here and there. thats why i go on deviant and look at other ppls art 2 get some ideas. i dont steel that actual drawing and copy it. but i just make it my own.

Picture next to my name? Do you mean my avatar? Because if that's what you're talking about, you have one up too. My avatar is of Gaara (with inverted colors), I made it a couple of years ago.
Good luck with getting inspiration from drawings and stuff though! I hope my stuff gave you a few good ideas.
