Description
The reality tv shows tell me what to do.I believe in the Pepsi commercials, don't you?
The re-runs on tv will keep me from harm.
The glow of my monitor makes me feel warm.
Yeah I know, I suck at poetry and really should stick to what I'm good at...
No matter how many times I try to tell myself that reality tv is crap, I always end up watching it and feeling like scum. I like to think that I have good taste in tv but I'm only fooling myself. Who am I kidding? I love bad television. But at least I'm aware that I'm watching bad television, I wonder how many other people would admit that?
Damn, I have too many media related addictions...
This picture is of me and my eternal love, the television. I drew this with a ball point pen and it took forever! I've been planning this for a couple of weeks now and finished it just last night. It was very hard planning out all of the wires and pipes mostly because I don't know anything about machinery. So I sort of invented my own machine. I like the way my machine creates a border for the whole picture.
I hope everyone else likes it too!
I think I'll go and watch more tv.

The last few months I've been going through Doctor Who withdraws... I have MANY tv obsessions. Although anime is a massive part of it, I really need my fix of British sitcoms too.

Well I really love my Doctor Who, but some of the other British sitcoms I love are Red Dwarf, Black Adder, Murder Most Horrid, Absolutely Fabulous, Chef, Mulberry, Dark Place, Faulty Towers, The Vicar of Dibley, Keeping Up Appearances, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, The Thin Blue Line, Black Books, A League of Gentlemen, The Good Neighboors, Spaced and many other titles I can't remember... But I have a special fondness for the last one I mentioned, "Spaced!" I really miss that show. It was the tv show that the movie "Shaun of the Dead" was based off of. It was excellent.

Yep, Shaun of the Dead was based of the tv show Spaced. Spaced has only been aired once in America, it was a few years ago on Bravo and they showed it at like 5:30 am! Luckly I'm a night person and I'm one of the few people who actually caught it when it was being aired. I think there was only 2 seasons ever made and I've seen every episode. So if you like Shaun of the Dead, you'll love Spaced even more! It's definately one of my top 10 favorite shows of all time!

Someday I plan on buying a box set of the whole show on dvd. I don't know if you'd want to make that sort of gamble though, but for me it's totally worth it! One of my favorite scenes in the show was when the Simon Pegg (the guy who played as Shaun in the movie) was playing Resident Evil 2 for many weeks straight, he started having zombie halucinations. It was hilarious, he just started tackling people at random because he thought they were zombies.

Funny thing is, I can totally relate to him with the zombie halucinations. I sorta went through the same thing when I first bought RE2 back in 1998... But yes, you must see Spaced! I don't know if it's possible to rent it, it'd be easier to buy it. But maybe it's possible to watch it online? Well what ever option works, I hope you get the chance to see it!
