Description
This post was made 2 years ago from my FA page........As I thumb through my galleries it brought this Wolf memories of his sons last days. Who says wolves dont cry.*****As I post this of Darwin testing the height of the fence, which is 8' and he almost leaped it, I have to stop and smile at his enjoyment of life. He is laying inside the foyer right now, and I am not sure he is going to make it.
This pixture is almost 4 years old, when he was about 5 ish. I think he had another stroke yesterday as he seems to be just hanging on. I am happy he has made it for 9 years, which is old for a wolf, but I am not sure he is gonna pull through this time. He looked at me as if to say, Dad im about done.
*****Darwin passed December 22, 2009. His lower half of his body failed him the day following this original post. My vet came to my home and I held my son as he left this world. I wanted to share this so you might understand that when you feel all is lost, to stop, and look back on the happiness, because it is those moments that make the depression seem winable.

I want the Therian symble drawn inside a hollow circle. The circle needs to be 1/4" wide at least and the Therian symbol needs to be narrow or thin. The outer circle and Therian symbol will
I will build cips on the back side of the outter circle so that a Specific animal totem can be inserred behind it. Kinda get the idea?

so hard to describe. Imagine a hollow ring but larger. In the center of that ring is the Therian symbol. On the top of the ring is a chain hook. on the back are little claw like clasp that will hold the picture of the Therians totam animal

Darwin was another remarkable wolf! What love and respect you also have for them! Kiri, at Wolf Park, is now 19! Obviously at that age he isn't in the best of condition but the ol' boy gets around still. When we love them and you obviously cared for him so well, there is nothing to regret as you've given the best that can be given. And you have the most wonderful memories and experiences that most humans never get to have. The sadness of their loss remains as well as the joy of the love they gave.

I just don't like seeing them in a cage.
Though, if you took care of them, you have my fullest respect
sorry for your loss...

those cages you see are almost 2 acres each. And they come into my home and I do take care of them. Have been for a few decades.

I'm so sorry... You cared for him... and loved him like your own.
I bet he knew that you did, but he's at peace now... Thats a good thing also right?
It's okay to cry, even wolves cry. Especially after they've lost one of their own.
Were here you you, just remember that. *nuzzles and smiles*

*nuzzle* Wolves cry & that is why they have pack, to have another to cry with. He had the colors & marking of a husky. He seems like such a sweet & loveable wolf, such a shame I was never able to meet him. Cherish the time you had with him.
