It is finished! About twenty minutes a day when I could spare the time.

The sound of rapid laser fire was now so constant it became mere background noise. Pistons throbbing, joints aching, the two Autobots gasped each breath as they prepared their counter attack. Destron had been a vital Autobot stronghold for centuries until Megatron overcame the previous tenants. After days of surveillance it had come down to these two warriors.

"You ready?" Jaggid asked, arming her guns.

"Yeah, sure," Terradrift replied, tightening her grip on her staff. "You?

Jaggid shrugged, "Sure, why not."

There was a momentary lapse in enemy firepower, but they were both experienced enough to stay put, and listen. Jaggid craned her neck. "On three?" Terradrift nodded.

"One...two..."

I must now apologise to *Wrecker-lady , for I have totally hijacked her character for the story behind this piece

Jaggid and Terradrift are senior members of an elite squadron of infiltrators: the Iacon Arrows. Established by Diamond Nine, these warriors were covert and deadly and, much like the Wreckers, would take jobs no one else would take or even be considered for. Kind of like secret agents, in a way.

It needs a bit of fine tuning, but that's the jist of the history.

I'm very proud of the detail I put into this one. It's the first time I've tried to set something on Cybertron. Nothing too adventurous, obviously, but I went with the blues and greys you often see in some of the flashbacks in Prime. If you look closely, they've each got subtle battle damage, scratches and scuff etc, including a cut on Jag's face and Drift's lip. The laser fire was fun to do. Lookit all the glowy things in the picture!
