Description
Safe in the magic of my woodsI lay, and watched the dying light.
Faint in the pale high solitudes,
And washed with rain and veiled by night,
Silver and blue and green were showing.
And the dark woods grew darker still;
And birds were hushed; and peace was growing;
And quietness crept up the hill;
And no wind was blowing
And I knew
That this was the hour of knowing,
And the night and the woods and you
Were one together, and I should find
Soon in the silence the hidden key
Of all that had hurt and puzzled meβ
Why you were you, and the night was kind,
And the woods were part of the heart of me.
And there I waited breathlessly,
Alone; and slowly the holy three,
The three that I loved, together grew
One, in the hour of knowing,
Night, and the woods, and you

I remember you showing me this one. I love it.
I can't help thinking it would look better with a black border though, then this would be perfect.

This is really quite good. The poem does the photo justice...it is really a great match. I really like the contrast of the red with the rest of the picture, along with the roots of the tree...that is what really stands out to me. If you ever want to work together, I'd be honored to write you a poem to go along with your deviation. (I did one for Dark Myth on her deviation 'ME.....')
I really enjoy your work

You want me to write you something first? Give me a title.

well...lets see. what kind of picture are we talking about? something or someplace? are there people involved? i'm trying to get a sense of feeling for it. so, a title is helpful...or give me a description of the picture. OR give me an emotion...and i'll write off that. (that's for the lick!)

Hmm, I don't really have any ideas at the moment.
Maybe something to do with fantasy or horror.
You could just choose one of the poems you've already written if you like, and I"ll try to make an image for it.

I really like this one. I love the contrast between the black and white with the red, works extremely well. But I REALLY love the location and the extract is just really beautiful. It perfectly reflects the atmosphere in the picture.

This is lovely, I like how its all greyscale except the figure. Very effective. The poem fits perfectly with it as well. Very nice. ^.^
Thanks for using my stock.
