I use MikuMikuDance, but it's called MMD for short.
If you are going to try and make animations i suggest you watch tutorials on youtube and MMD help groups around on deviantart.
I could also help with any questions you have.
I'm helping my friend learn how to use MMD, i'd say she's improving, but she never really has anytime to make animations though.

Thankyou! I just downloaded it and im looking round for video tutorials I'm trying to make a kitsune (fox girl) but i cant move and attach tails and ears. Any ideas?

oh, do you have PMX Editor?
PMX Editor allows you to make models, i mean get a base, add hair, clothes, etc.

In Japanese kitsune（狐）means fox so... you want to make an female fox animal model for MMD??

I'm assuming you mean the story with foxes with multiple tails, magic and human like forms. right? o.O

yeah, im thinking of a normal human girl but with the tails and ears but i cant seem to have more than one model in at a time on pmx editor

did you click the other option? when you load stuff in there's something you can pick. the first one something along the lines of new the bottom one says add.

I made this using MMD (miku miku dance).
I'm planning on remaking this animation, because i found out how to make the video render to be clearer and add effects like lens flare

No, it's really easy once you get to understand what all the buttons do.
There are a lot of help groups for mmd in deviantART and on youtube.
