Description
21 June 2005 Canon 20D, EFS 17β85 Lens @ 17mm, F/8, 1/250 Sec., ISO 200I was observing a military medical training event in a village not far from Tuzla, Bosnia and like everywhere the local kids showed up to watch.
As a soldier stationed abroad the local kids can be both a joy and a pain in the butt in this case they were a joy. I was never any place in Bosnia where the kids were not well mannered and fun to interact with.

Thank you Zoran
As mentioned in the comments Bosnian kids were a pleasure to meet. One can tell when children are raised with love and taught to be well mannered and this was the case with all of the children that I met in Bosnia.

Please do.
I had no desire to go to Bosnia and I hated my job there but I was totally charmed by Bosnia and itβs lovely people. I had to work with Bosniaks, Serbians & Croatians in my job and I must say that I found them all to be great people. The children were especially delightful.
This was all particularly interesting to me because I was married to the daughter of a very wonderful Croatian gentleman and so had some insight to the culture. In fact I was married at the Yugoslavian Club in Lima, Peru in 1979. The Yugoslavian ambassador to Peru even attended my wedding.

I was taking opening reception photos last Friday for the current Image City Photography Gallery show. The kids are the most fun to photograph. [link]

Beautiful children! Awesome shot! love the expressions on their little faces. (the one in the middle seems to have "oh cool" look on his face.)
(my I suggest you try this one in B&W and a tighter crop around the kids?)

I am curios to see the BW. I can picture it in my head. (I think it will give a great moodiness to the whole thing.)
