He has already managed to catch a blackbird!
And he was playing with the poor bird
I think he was wild before, so he's a good hunter

Must have been an old or sickly blackbird! It is a myth that cats "play" with their prey, by the way - what they are doing is tiring it out so it cannot hurt the cat as much.

it was a young one. Certainly yes, but he was throwing the bird into the air so it seemed he was playing
