FULL view is best...cos otherwise you dont see the ickle brush strokes. But saying that you dont notice as many of the flaws either at preview size.

Motoko Kusanagi....Ghost in the Shell: SAC

actually its a mish mash of all the versions, but i downsized the eyes to make it more SAC.

Its not finished finished...but my eyes hurt from looking at it most of the afternoon...so its done for now, and forever, unless i do more to it later...which i might.

Anyway, its for two things...

One, ther missus is a bit GITSSAC mad, so i hope she likes it.

Its also meant for contest.

Admittedly the brief is about drawing a pic of a sexy woman, the woman in question being motoko......so wheres the oodles of flesh etc? well.......I figured motoko is actually pretty sexy anyway, and i wanted the pose and facial expression to give the image an air of intimacy. As well as the characters slighlty wry humour.....so in a way this is the major as bateau probably sees her every morning on the roof for coffee. Its the sexynes that comes from intimacy and friendship, not the kind that comes from stockings and panting......not that theres anything wrong with that.
But having gone in an art style thats probably closer to painting or the videogame, I wanted the clothing to evoke the anime more. Hence the orange jacket of the movies, the semi laughing man logo on her right arm, the dirty pair style SAC top, the comic style combat trousers and gloves.....you see what I mean?
anyway.....i draw nudes enough....and sometimes imagining taking someone out of the clothing is sexier than them falling out of it....especially cute girls with bob haircuts and combat trousers. Then you can have fun.

I was trying to up my game a little, but its still rushed, although i'm getting there, even with my tablet held together by tape now.

fixed the eyes abt ten minutes after the original....though i might do a bigger eyed version, with a few improvements to give it more shiro manga style rather than IG style. I also intend to finsh the bottom half and background better. For now...this is it.
If you preferred the bigger eyes, let me know and i'll stick it in scraps....theres also mostly inked line art, over the original sketch (which is in scraps) if thats wanted..

ALL was digital with tablet....and I think I am raising my game a bit...but need to carry the faces level across into the other bits of pic...i might also lose the brushwork lines
