Wow, look at those nubs. That is one elderly elephant.
Great concept though... it takes a bit of looking to tell that they've been 'shopped into the same shot, and the hieratic pose of the model is quite fabulous.

Love the idea, but not the model. If you had an more exotic model this image would be breathtaking. But the girl above is just too cookie cutter for this shot. Also, the hair is cringe-worthy. But the colors, the actually photography, and all that, I love.

This is a really eye-catching photo, but I can't help but feel like the enlarged view is actually less pleasing than the thumbnail. My reasoning: the angle of the camera (from bottom-up) gives an element of arrogance or power to the model, and the gold of her dress and makeup suggests wealth and riches; these two combined give the impression the she's high-class, or that you're going for the image of a queen from the ancient world. The thumbnail conveys this feeling perfectly!
However, when I look at the enlarged version, all I can see are the inconsistencies caused by the subject's attire. For example: her wig looks like it's made of plastic hair rather than real hair (I don't know if this is the truth or not, but it's the image that counts). The too-perfect curls seem to speak of modern factories rather than ancient technology. Example 2: The sash that covers her hips looks like it's made of polyester, and the black braid was applied so quickly that the stitches caused pulls in the fabric; this also speaks of modern, machine-made goods.
Am I being picky? Yes. But considering how your other work has just blown me away and given me so much enjoyment, I thought that taking the time to think out a response to this photo is just one small way I can repay you for sharing your wonderful work here. : )
