I've been trying to learn this 3D style for a while now.
Is this Studio Max? Or c4d?

Max - basically, it was just lofted/extended shapes, then using the bend modifier on them.

Did you like, use 'splines' to create the shapes?
I'm used to c4d lingo, lol.

i might try something similar in c4d if I can get some good mat's..

Actually, I created them in Illustrator and imported the .ai file.

Same idea as splines, just you used a much more advanced program.
