"Robot Jones is to cartoons what Klonoa is to video games" is what I say when talking about underrated stuff. And Whatever Happened to... Robot Jones?ย is a great cartoon. I really wish it would air more in Europe so that it would come to a bigger audience.Anyway, I drew Robot Jones again. He is just a really cute robot! So I decided to draw Robot Jones looking quite innocent. Aww, isn't he cute?

So cute! And yeah, the show is criminally underrated, not just for what it was, but what it was trying to accomplish, what with the nostalgic elements and all.
Does it still air in Europe?

I never found any information that it did, but I do know that it didn't air in UK/Ireland, or Spain (My homecountry. I feel so sad. The show was dubbed to Spanish though, but Latin Spanish)
There is a Romanian Wikipedia page that said that it was dubbed in Romanian (Ce s-a รฎntรขmplat cu... Robot Jones?), but I can't find any videos of that.
And apparently an Italian page exists, but I'm not sure if it aired in Italy (Qualunque Cosa Succedesse a... Robot Jones?).
And a Polish page exists, but it never aired in Poland.
So, it doesn't really air in most of Europe. Mind you, it doesn't air in the US much anymore either. (I wish it still aired at all, I don't care what language, as long as it still airs)

I'm not aware of if airing in the US anymore at all. In the US even the random 1 hour cartoon block that would occasionally show one episode got trashed by 2006, long before CN Real even happened.

i know that this is extremely old but there was a period when the cartoon was airing on boomerang(In Romania) in 2014 but I haven't seen it since.ย

2014? Jesus, that seems like just yesterday. I'm not entirely sure why different countries end up getting different programming just because a station is based in a certain country. And when you brought up that RJ aired in boomerang Romania in 2014, that was especially surprising. For a really long time, Boomerang in America strictly stayed away from airing CN originals. Their function up until then was to air that library of 1960s Hannah Barbara shows that Cartoon Network used to show when it had been founded. The first I ever heard of them airing some CN classics like Dexter and PPG wasn't until 2012, and in very limited time slots, and I'd still consider that impressive that they didn't go the way of turning into another Nicktoons Channel faster, where it functions more or less as a graveyard for cancelled shows, as well as a jumpstart for lame, souless cartoons that try to cash in on the rise of anime. (I could tear into an entire rant on what they did to Nicktoons).
I don't have Boomerang anymore but last I heard, the old Hannah Barbara stuff gets about half of the airtime, the other half shows currently running CN shows. So they've got a different set up than Nicktoons, but I have no idea what that network is doing anymore either. (Sorry about the text wall, I never get to talk about any of this. xP)
