Promo piece. Finished in Painter X.I think this may be the closest to a classic fantasy painting that I have done. Started as an abstract shape sketch and as I continued working, the piece just begged for a dragon...and then rainbows, haha.

The detail work is fantastic, as usual. What strikes me most about this piece is the expression on the dragon's face; it's so sad, and that's a big accomplishment because it's, you know, a massive saurian.
