It took me a while to realize it, But doesn't Blue Diamond from Steven Universe look SHOCKINGLY similar to Midna from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess?

I mean, first of all their appearances, Both Midna and Blue Diamond have light blue skin, Small Eyes with large pupils, Long thick eyelashes, and dark thin eyebrows, they both also have two hair bangs laying on each cheek, and their hair is conjoined at the bottom near their chest, both also seem to have a dark shaded color of makeup applied under their eyes. In terms of clothing, they both wear large cloaks with a hood, although Midna's is a little more revealing.

But it's not just how they look, these two are also both royal figures and leaders of a non-human race, they both had their views of humanity changed by one certain human (Link and Greg Universe), and they both have even been shown to posses magic tears.

Overall the similarities are strikingly similar, so it wouldn't surprise me if Rebecca Sugar had actually based Blue Diamond's design off of Midna, in fact it would actually make sense since she and her Brother are fans of the franchise and played a lot of the games growing up, and Rebecca has often placed Zelda references in her show already, such as how Steven has a physical copy of The Wind Waker for his GameCube, the Bottle of Lon Lon Milk from Ocarina of Time in Steven's Kitchen, and in his Game "Golf Putt Mini" the game starts with a character saying "It's Dangerous to go Alone, Take This." this would be no different.
