Just want to make sure, when Gordon's main body started disappearing, one out of the four snakes became the "MAIN" one/big snake correct?

i was slightly expecting something along these lines to happen when it switched to the knight of chains and gorgon's story...but i never expected the snakes to actualy make her shrivel up and mummify o.o i just expected her to be like in a deep sleep or something with the snakes in charge....this is really heart jerking

This wen't from a smile a minute strip with Chocodiles and cute Modest's larks to real and unexpected tragedy. I'm amazed at the turn this has taken. Great job, but disturbing!

Poor Mommy Medusa, was she always going to turn, or did his rejection of her make her turn? Can little Modest beat the cycle?

ooohh ... the tragic! We are left to wonder... Will the mother's curse continually haunt the children, over and over again? What's in store for our modest? Will her experiences equip her with the strength to resist? Will Unicorn play a bigger role in her eventual deliverance? This is a masterful twist to your story, Jake. Good job!
