Magic door is probably different than the magic toilet. Maybe there are different doors into Yeld with different rules. Perhaps each door is a personal entry point for each person that ends up in Yeld. Perhaps also, when Matt here returns to yeld, permanently sealing his own door, he becomes subject to the Prince's reality, and accepts his fate as the knight of chains. Maybe the reality within Yeld is controlled by the most active or most recent door. Perhaps that's why in earlier panels we see that everyone in Yeld seems to wear a set of Marah's glasses - She's unwittingly asserted control of the rules of Yeld reality and maybe this is why the prince is gonna be in so much trouble real soon! They are going to battle for control of Yeld's future.

Wasn't he in our world once before, when he cut off Charles' arm? He didn't revert to human form that time, so why did he this time?

I actually agree with you. Not to knock Jake's work, he knows I'm a big fan. But the Chainsaw Unicorn went thru a series of mystical changes, first as the world of Yeld began to mutate him, second when Gorgon used her magic to turn him into a horse instead of whatever Yeld had in-store, lastly with the addition of the chainsaw thanks to the prince. Walking back thru the Door of Yeld shouldn't negate all these actions -at least not so rapidly-, nor do they negate them in the future events you mentioned. In defense, it could be the case that he doesn't change in his future appearance because he'd die if he reverted back to his human-state by that point, so... naturally, he remains a horse. Buying that reasoning or not, his appearance back as a human is a bit confusing, since it shares no relation (aside from being human) to his appearance when he first journeyed to Yeld, even considering the passage of time. It's awesome to involve fans-appearances, and congrats to Matt, but it didn't really fit this time around.

Well, I've voiced my opinion, and I hope that was OK that I did so. I remain a fan and big supporter of Jake and his works. Now time to vote. w00t w00t! Go team Medusa!

Actually, the mustache confused me more than anything. He didn't have one when he entered Yeld, didn't grow one there, but did grow a chin beard as a horse, and then suddenly had this Freddie Mercury mustache back in our world. Huh? However ... I'm going to suggest a plausible solution. While it may have looked like our world, perhaps the kid merely came from one much like it? So when he was in our world, assualting Jake's house, he was really not in his own world, so there was no reversion to his own form. Just a guess...

There is just so much I like about this...I am curious as to why he didn't change back to human when he went after everyone to get Modest...then again maybe portals have different effects.
