Description
Spent the day downtown with Jaymz visiting Powells and Floating World Comics. Fun, but we didn’t get day passes, so we spent WAY too much on bus fare. Powell’s had the new(ish) color reprint of Paul Pope’s One Trick Ripoff, which I got and looks great. I can’t wait to sit down with it and really dig in. Floating World had some really neat looking over sized hardcover Moebius books, but they were like $100 each. That’s frustrating. I’m having trouble finding affordable collections of his work. Same with Carl Barks, who was a super huge influence for me.Related content

I have a scar just like that! But I got mine through far less adventurous means -- doctors opened me up like a melon to remove a kidney stone. For a while I had a rubber drain hose and a bag it emptied into. Did it smell!
