I’m having a studio sidewalk sale on Saturday as part of the Fun on Foster street fair! If you’re in Portland and around the intersection of SE Foster and Holgate (on 63rd) come by and check it out. I’ll have discounted damaged books, old t-shirts, left over prints and other odds and ends Medusa stuff for sale! If it’s not raining. If it rains I’ll stay home and play Destiny.Related content

Heh... I just won a bet.
I told my sis I knew what was gonna happen. She said no way, but also didn't want it spoiled if I was right. So we both put ten dollars in an envelope along with a slip of paper with my answer...
She sees the comic, opens the envelope to check the answer, then hands it over. Now I have the last little bit of money I needed for my new awesome BBQ grill. Yay!
At least she won't have nightmares this time. Only aliens give her nightmares.

My little slip of paper said "Bad guy's friends say no; tooth monster flips out."
I don't have nightmares. After a particularly weird and bad one I taught myself lucid dreaming.
My grandpa also has lucid dreaming. And always flies like Superman.
My grandma on the other hand... Only has nightmares if she eats chili. Then the chili monster comes to get her. Which is a Klingon.

Getting nightmares of Klingons after eating chili makes sense? 
Took a long time to learn it. And just when I thought I had it mastered, I had my last nightmare. A friend recommended I watch Saw, and I ended up doing a four movie marathon... But none since then!
Lucid dreaming is definitely worth learning, but take a while. I find it a great way to work out story ideas. It's like having a few extra hours of planning time.

Actually, I meant that chili Klingon monsters make a certain kind of sense. I can see that being a Klingon thing. Chili gives you indigestion, and Klingons deal with problems by fighting them, so... yeah.
I've never been able to get a handle on lucid dreaming. My dreams are too nuts for me to control.

And my grandpa's a huge Star Trek fan, so she's certainly seen plenty of them. Although I do remember her having a nightmare while on pain meds that her earplugs were snakes and she made me search to make sure there were no snakes. That was an odd night.
Have to start slow, and there's certain steps that typically work for people. Can look them up pretty easy.
