– Looks like I’ll be at Rose City Comic Con here in Portland on Sept 10-11th. I’ll also be at Geek Girl con in Seattle on Oct 8-9th and, the Portland Retro Gaming expo on Oct 22-23rd and Kumoricon on Oct 28-30th. Looks like Oct will be pretty busy!

Way to step on that landmine.
Although... the first time going to Yeld, they went in not knowing what they were up against... and in Jake's case... got dragged through a dang toilet. When I think about it, Marah was already a hero starting out.. just using a knife at first then carved a path across Yeld that ended up with her winning freedom for her family at the cost of her life.. martyr to Legend. But even she needed Modest to help with some of the magic aspects of Yeld... the Ghost would have eaten her if it wasn't for Modest.
And he's right... it ISN'T the same. The Gorgon doesn't care about any of her offspring other than Modest...she freaking eats them like Skittles!
Now... if this was an extraction.. I'd say go for it. Start distributing snake girls to all of Jake's family..heh. But it isn't... it's 'just visiting" and I suspect that Marah's mom would rather see Modest disappear into Yeld forever so she wouldn't have yet another reminder that her daughter is gone, Legend or no.
For a 'low profile' mission... probably no less than 6 people going, armed as heavily as they can... or at least bring trade goods so they can get decent weapons when they get to Yeld. Modest, Jake, Jenny..... Who else for the Dirty half Dozen? heheh.
I wonder if Modest can call the Bagman when they get there...hmm.
