Well, the speech bubble is different so it must mean something is different. At first thought I thought because it was telepathy, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Or is it just like that simply to be a different look?

Oh, I see what you mean. I wanted to signify that her voice was very, very different sounding from human speech, even more so than the Vampires and Fairies who we've also seen. I didn't have a particular sound in mind, but it's meant to sound nonhuman.

Honestly, I don't have voices in mind for any of the characters (except the ones based on real people). I always struggle to imagine what they sound like. In this case I think her voice probably sounds wet and has an echo, as if you're listening to two different lightly overlapping sound tracks.
