Description
Character from an ongoing project I've been doing with a couple of friends: Aedwyn Fairchilde, self-described "traveling minstrel, raconteur, and general handyman" with a dark past but a cheerful disposition. There's more of him in my scraps, but it's mostly unfinished work, just preliminary sketches -- this is my first or second attempt at something cleaner than a sketch, to conclusively establish a "look" for him.Related content

I have been meaning to ask you in regards to Aedwyn, exactly what IS that purple thing around his neck? Is that a tie, or an ascot, or a scarf??
Where is that scar from? That's interesting...
Honestly, if I could just be real with you for a second... I love the hair. I envisioned it being more fluffy, almost akin to Kenshin Himura levels of fluff in his hair. Like it was combed back during the past, but now that he's a free traveler, it's poofy and wild. Might be one reason why no one recognizes him now.
Still! This is nice! Good thing so I can get a real visual on what he looks like. Helps me with writing to be able to see him the way you intend him to be seen.
I've been brainstorming on some of the grander plot, too! I have a grand rival for Lucia's character arc that Eric helped me come up with, and we think it's a shame if we don't use it.

1. It's closer to an ascot than anything else. The ends are tucked into his shirt.
2. The scar is from a battle where he almost died, perhaps the same one where he and Artemis saved each other's lives. The scar is the reason why he wears a long-sleeved shirt and doesn't like to take it off.
3. His hair can be pretty much as fluffy as anyone wants to make it, I think. Just as long as it doesn't look short or well-combed. 8)
