She's always put it before her other moves in terms of polishing when it comes to training; and holds a great amount of pride with how well it usually is preformance wise! Just as it states, the move is one that causes her to get right up in your face and rough ya about! Fists and stars flyin' in a flury of punches and kicks! On the outside the move is almost beautiful in a strange, "Wow that color of purple, really brings out your eyes."
Blizzzard [TM]

[Blizzard does damage and has a 10% chance of freezing the target. It has an accuracy of 90%.] Her worst move by far and yet Velvet loves throwing it into fights just for the smallest chance that maybe you'll get frozen solid and she can scribble on some funny face! Thanks to a former friend back in Violet City, Velvet was able to train and acquire enough knowlege to really get a feel for some fake ice powers! Hah. don't let her fool you with the glittery snow almost gracefully flying off her fingertips. It's all for show and almost never gets the job done however, that doesn't stop her from trying to polish it further!
Double Slap!!

[DoubleSlap inflicts damage, hitting the target 2-5 times per use.] If you're gonna act like a bitch, ya gonna get hit like a bitch. Though not her most trained, or a fave of the trio, Doube Slap is Velvet's most used move for reasons far too long to list. It looks like any normal slap to the face would but once this girl makes contact with anything, WHACK! you're going down faster then a ton of bricks. Or at least that's what she hopes .... and the contact sound doesn't make a very pretty ring. OH WAIT? YOU WANT MORE? Good, cause it never comes with just one, hence the name double!

Even those who aren’t close to her, can tell right off the bat that if Velvet can she will bring all the attention over to her. Never being one to shy away from any new interaction and quick to introduce herself the second she sees a potential connection or promise for friendship (as one sided as it may be) Velvet prides herself over the ease she feels in talking to anyone.   The wigglytuff has a bubbly air around her and could willingly talk just about anyone’s ear off which comes in pairs of being good or bad...depending on the person. Even if someone’s grilling her with the scariest scary face they got, she'll make her way over with a friendly smile.   Confidence is a vibe she sets off right away, just by verbal cues or choice of actions Velvet always seems extremely sure in everything that she does. Her mannerisms, her body language, everything! She’s extremely comfortable with herself and it shows. Even if things seem to be turning sour in a conversation her general hopefulness is always looking at the brighter side of things and she’ll keep digging for that common ground or interest waiting to be sparked! Though, Velvet’s bad habit of making decisions and going straight into anything without thinking can lead her more often than not into her own fit of criticizing herself and others. As good as it is to be so willing to jump right into anything, the impulsiveness comes with negatives too. It backfires a bit when the first approach is always, “Nothing will go wrong!” and then … something goes wrong.   Velvet’s expectations are sometimes too high, and unfavorable situations are created when the initial thought or idea isn’t met and falls short.

She never willingly goes out to ruins someone’s day, her form of joking around comes more so in the sass department than anything else but it’s supposed to be meant in a much more lighthearted way than sometimes interpreted. Both positively and negatively used; she can be joking around with buds or giving lip back to that rude customer so it’s not all false ammo. A busy bee, always has to be moving and if she made a commitment, you bet your bum she's going do everything in her power to see it through and reach her goal above all other things. Especially when she’s made the fatal mistake of declaring it a new goal or milestone in her life; said factor will consume everything she does. The wigglytuff becomes critical if certain steps towards her newest obsession aren’t being made and though she’s quick to criticize bad habits, (mostly those that come with exercise and the forms of said exercises) more often than not it’s herself she will be the most critical over.

Velvet’s spent her whole life learning and training herself, and can get pretty intense when talking about any of her favorite things. One things for sure though, the only time she can step around her own obsessions or goals is when she’s making promises to help others better themselves! Reliability is a big thing in her heart. She’ll do anything to keep her word, and happily makes friends a big priority over herself. If she makes a promise she’s keeping it. Always.

The youngest of three siblings, Velvet was born to a wigglytuff and whimsicott couple. Both parents welcoming the little Igglybuff into the world with warm smiles and tired eyes. The beginning of her days were calm and sweet her parents already understanding what they had in store, she was their third daughter after all and the couple had become very confident in considering themselves pros at this whole raising kids thing. Violet City treated her and her family well, since the moment she could walk the young igglybuff showed promised of a big heart and even bigger goals! Her loud laughs and big smiles; Velvet was all about constantly grabbing for her mother and older sister’s attention!

Jump a few months ahead, and the ever so curious little tuff was always wandering around the house. One fateful evening Velvet was able to come across her mother's corny workout videos. It was a life changing moment really, the Lopunny starring as the epitome of perfection when it came to routines and exercise. Little Velvet was wide eyed at the whole show! What pretty colors; what cool music! Too young to fully understand exactly what the video was about or what her mother was doing trying to copy that lady's funny dance moves, Velvet proclaimed that day that she wanted to be HER! Miss lopunny! Scribbling up ideas in her coloring books, adding on funny outfits to the outlines the little igglybuff couldn't go a day without sitting down on the couch with her juicebox happily watching up all these fun videos with her mother as she shouted along happily the "CHERRIO!" saying miss bouncing lopunny would often say. Fast forward a few years, and Velvet was down on the squishy carpet jumping beside her mother laughing away at how much fun the lopunny lady was providing, and the idea crossed her mind, she’d be the one on the TV someday! She’d be the face of strength and endurance too!

As she got older, obviously Velvet learned exactly what those ‘corny videos’ were but the charm never wore. Her fastest evolution was from Igglybuff to Jigglypuff, running after the coattails of her older siblings wanting those pretty long ears like miss lopunny lady! It didn't take long for Velvet to set her mind to it, buckle down and work her little tail off to get strong enough to hit that stage! Becoming a wigglytuff was better than her birthday in terms of satisfaction in reaching her goal. It also stood out as the exact day she proclaimed to become someone just as good as that lopunny she saw on TV! She wanted to make people feel good about themselves too, she'd tell her mother excitedly everyday.
Miss lopunny was quickly put in the back of her mind as one inspiration, Velvet took off with her idea but at the end of the day nothing felt better than hitting that goal of finally evolving. She held it close to her heart as she set off to further train herself!
On top of exercising Velvet became interested in her family's moveline, specifically play rough as anyone who was a wigglytuff was rumored to have been pretty darn good at it. Or at least, that was the vibe she got from stores shared at family gatherings. Researching through family members and and the fairy type line, Velvet took down her needed notes and put another goal in front of herself.
Her sisters would offer help in private whenever they were home from school for long enough, but Velvet politely denied. Even her father tried but his efforts were also waved off, fas Velvet felt as if reaching a goal on her own would be much more satisfying! The idea of someone helping her almost felt like cheating, and she just wouldn't have that. Months past, but soon enough she got her first footing with the signature move and with a proud smirk checked another goal off her list. Spending her days training, exercising and trying to balance grades was proving harder and harder for her. But she knew she could do it if she just pushed herself enough, and continued going forward with all her own personal plans.
This however, didn't come without it's consequences. Throughout her last years of highschool Velvet injured herself, it was a storm brewing from the get go and anyone watching the wigglytuff overwork nearly everyday saw it coming. She'd wave off their worries telling everyone she was fine but in the end her lone wolf mentality ended up screwing her over and forcing her into slow down mode. The actual injury was one common with over extending; your classic ACL injury. Nice job Velvet! Now you have to chill out.
Being forced to rest, stay still, just quietly help her mother with chores was more excruciating than any sort of pain she had ultimately felt when the injury first plagued her. It wasn’t on the scale of needing surgery; it was thankfully on the rest and stay in bed for a bit spectrum but still, how was she gonna reach her goal now! All she was doing was wasting time! If things weren't bad enough as is Velvet's mother took the opportunity of her daughter being home so much to finally drop the ‘big family news’ on her. They were leaving Violet City, some time next year after her eldest sister graduated college to relocate and be with her other sister who had plans to study in Kalos. Mouth opened, Velvet took the news worse then her mother intended. Too many things were changing at once, she was stuck on bed rest and now she was just going to get up and leave the only place she ever knew as home? No thank you!
With the inevitable move coming close, and too much time on her hands, Velvet took the time to just think about who she was. Dwelling into a endless cycle of questioning her own motives and wondering what about than damn Lopunny was it that motivated her so much, and where had that motivation gone? Where was she going in life? Would she ever be that girl on TV? Her goals seemed just like a childish dream now, the faint memory of dancing along with her mother to those fitness moves....was that really the only reason she wanted to train so hard. Frowning at how she had been rushing through life, ready to grow up so fast and be her own person Velvet tried to erase the memory of that damn fitness princess. Who was she! Why was she so important to her!? Why did her knee have to betray her right now!? The sudden anger and pent up energy forced Velvet to seek new motivators and the wigglytuff found herself spending time in the City's public park.
Watching the regulars come and go from her favorite little bench, while she was stuck with just her crutch and some uncomfort. Smiling at the joggers and funny little fitness classes she’d catch if she was early enough.   Or even some bikers coming down for an evening ride! Something about constantly being in motion was so interesting to her, just staying on the go always moving forward, trying to better yourself everyday! It was a charm she remembered so fondly, and one she so desperately missed!
It was here, that a lovely Froslass took a pause from her usually walk to quietly ask the sad looking wigglytuff what her name was.

"You don't need to move to use this trick though!"

Velvet was quick to welcome the froslass’s friendship, the two of them bonding quickly thanks to so much free time available, and the common ground they quickly shared and discovered about each other! Meeting the young Froslass was life changing; she opened Velvet's eyes to many new worlds and resparked the wigglytuff's original charm when it came to moves. She'd been so focused on the physical aspect of training that she had forgotten the joy of actually using her own type moves! Though she was disheartened by her current state of limited mobility the froslass quickly waved away her worry with the idea that she could help her learn a brand new move! Something that would only take concentration and the flick of her wrist. No knee twisting or weightlifting needed at all!
This immediately sparked Velvet;s interest, finally something that she could move forward with. Maybe not literally, but in terms of training she’d be able to conquer something new. Train again, even while her injury healed. Go forward again with a different type of motion!
As they trained days turned to weeks, her sister's graduation got closer and Velvet knew her time was limited with her new friend. Thanks to the constant help the wigglytuff was able to secure blizzard as a small dumbed down version due to lack of really grasping the new type the move brought. It was able to pass a substantial understanding of the move eventually, and Velvet was more than ecstatic by that. She spent a lot more time with this cute little froslass girl, even after her injury was healed enough that she could slowly return to her old exercising routines she always found herself running back to the park to tell little miss froslass how the day was going and to ask her about hers.
The image of a lopunny motivator quickly returned. She remembered the joy and now her first motivator had a little ice pokemon to go with her. The new motivation and drive was able to help Velvet take a step back from obsessively exercising her physical strength and focused on polishing her moves again as well!
As her sister returned from graduation Velvet with a heavy heart finally brought it upon herself to say goodbye to her froslass friend, promising to keep in touch however she could. The move to a new city now seemed less daunting, originally it was paired with her personal crisis of injury but on its own it wasn’t too bad. Her mind cleared from her rampant path of tunnel vision to only achieve strength goals slowly melted away.
As the date got closer and the family started packing Velvet began to scheme up another goal! Her mother had filled her in with all the details as she was healing. She already knew what lay ahead if she joined her family in moving back to be closer to their other relatives in the countryside of Kalos. What she also knew however, was that her aunt still lived in Lumoise. The aunt she barely knew more than that one lady that always sent her and her sisters gift cards to random places in the malls, but still! She had time...she could spark up a conversation with her before the real moving date was here.
Velvet’s mother was more than ecstatic, as Velvet had finished highschool and was just floating through options for college, the city could prove helpful in a career path! Phone calls were made, her mother’s sister was invited over more than excited to help her niece out and at last another new goal was set!

Now, considering herself a “pro of the city” months later, Velvet works daily at a little ice cream kiosk that likes to park itself out by prism tower. The first few months were spent with her aunt, but Velvet quickly made friends and after seeking out some ad postings for a new roommate was able to snag a cute little apartment within the city. Thankfully she passed the roommate test and got to make some new bonds. Sadly for her aunt the originally scheme of bonding with her niece was broken, but Velvet was welcomed to always visit or come back if need be!

Her goals seemed just like a childish dream now, the faint memory of dancing along with her mother to those fitness moves....was that really the only reason she wanted to train so hard. Frowning at how she had been rushing through life, ready to grow up so fast and be her own person Velvet tried to erase the memory of that damn fitness princess. Who was she! Why was she so important to her!? Why did her knee have to betray her right now!? The sudden anger and pent up energy forced Velvet to seek new motivators and the wigglytuff found herself spending time in the City's public park.
Watching the regulars come and go from her favorite little bench, while she was stuck with just her crutch and some uncomfort. Smiling at the joggers and funny little fitness classes she’d catch if she was early enough.   Or even some bikers coming down for an evening ride! Something about constantly being in motion was so interesting to her, just staying on the go always moving forward, trying to better yourself everyday! It was a charm she remembered so fondly, and one she so desperately missed!
It was here, that a lovely Froslass took a pause from her usually walk to quietly ask the sad looking wigglytuff what her name was.

"You don't need to move to use this trick though!"

Velvet was quick to welcome the froslass’s friendship, the two of them bonding quickly thanks to so much free time available, and the common ground they quickly shared and discovered about each other! Meeting the young Froslass was life changing; she opened Velvet's eyes to many new worlds and resparked the wigglytuff's original charm when it came to moves. She'd been so focused on the physical aspect of training that she had forgotten the joy of actually using her own type moves! Though she was disheartened by her current state of limited mobility the froslass quickly waved away her worry with the idea that she could help her learn a brand new move! Something that would only take concentration and the flick of her wrist. No knee twisting or weightlifting needed at all!
This immediately sparked Velvet;s interest, finally something that she could move forward with. Maybe not literally, but in terms of training she’d be able to conquer something new. Train again, even while her injury healed. Go forward again with a different type of motion!
As they trained days turned to weeks, her sister's graduation got closer and Velvet knew her time was limited with her new friend. Thanks to the constant help the wigglytuff was able to secure blizzard as a small dumbed down version due to lack of really grasping the new type the move brought. It was able to pass a substantial understanding of the move eventually, and Velvet was more than ecstatic by that. She spent a lot more time with this cute little froslass girl, even after her injury was healed enough that she could slowly return to her old exercising routines she always found herself running back to the park to tell little miss froslass how the day was going and to ask her about hers.
The image of a lopunny motivator quickly returned. She remembered the joy and now her first motivator had a little ice pokemon to go with her. The new motivation and drive was able to help Velvet take a step back from obsessively exercising her physical strength and focused on polishing her moves again as well!
As her sister returned from graduation Velvet with a heavy heart finally brought it upon herself to say goodbye to her froslass friend, promising to keep in touch however she could. The move to a new city now seemed less daunting, originally it was paired with her personal crisis of injury but on its own it wasn’t too bad. Her mind cleared from her rampant path of tunnel vision to only achieve strength goals slowly melted away.
As the date got closer and the family started packing Velvet began to scheme up another goal! Her mother had filled her in with all the details as she was healing. She already knew what lay ahead if she joined her family in moving back to be closer to their other relatives in the countryside of Kalos. What she also knew however, was that her aunt still lived in Lumoise. The aunt she barely knew more than that one lady that always sent her and her sisters gift cards to random places in the malls, but still! She had time...she could spark up a conversation with her before the real moving date was here.
Velvet’s mother was more than ecstatic, as Velvet had finished highschool and was just floating through options for college, the city could prove helpful in a career path! Phone calls were made, her mother’s sister was invited over more than excited to help her niece out and at last another new goal was set!
She’d always liked the idea of Lumoise, but had no wear to dip her toes into. Now at least she had family to fall back onto while she job hunted and saved. Velvet’s idea came with rules that her aunt set for her but the wigglytuff was always more than welcomed at her home. Especially if that meant they got to grow closer.
Now, considering herself a “pro of the city” months later, Velvet works daily at a little ice cream kiosk that likes to park itself out by prism tower. The first few months were spent with her aunt, but Velvet quickly made friends and after seeking out some ad postings for a new roommate was able to snag a cute little apartment within the city. Thankfully she passed the roommate test and got to make some new bonds. Sadly for her aunt the originally scheme of bonding with her niece was broken, but Velvet was welcomed to always visit or come back if need be!
