I don't know if this idea is "fresh"... but anyway, I was doodling, and came up with this, so I thought I'd make a Photoshop image.So, I took the basic mau5head, and added the famous Creeper from Minecraft onto the mau5head.
I don't know if the eyes and mouth should be bigger... but if I were to created this mau5head, I'd need space to see through, and if the mouth was smaller... wouldn't be seeing much.
If this is the first "real" Creeper mau5head out there, I'd appreciate my idea not being stolen (though I'm sure some have had it as well)... I'd really like to create a unique mau5head like this.

You should add a thin highlight to the edge of the ears, since they do have shape. They aren't perfectly flat.

Yeah I know, just a rough sketch of my idea. The head itself is a perfect sphere, so I felt it was more important to put the shading on there... but hopefully, I can come up with a real creepermau5 someday.
