Why's this in your scraps? I think that's a fucking awesome effect. Did you really use 64 ISO film? I might try to imitate you, if you don't mind. I've been needing to take a self-pic. This is just a good idea. What was the exposure time? And how bright was that light?

lol, look to the right of my description above, all the cameras technical information is there
and it wasnt actually film it was digital and the light.. ugh that was really just a single lightbulb, fully lit with a plastic cover around it, making it more of an ambient light
its really important for the slow shutter that you dont have any direct light, if worse comes to worse, get some wax paper and wrap it around a light bulb to tone it down, if its still too bright, use another peice of it..
again i would recommend this for digital more than film.. just.. because well its easier to tel if you did it right or wrong and or what needs to be changed immediatly, rather than a few days later - after film processing
and that was just a long shutter speed, moving my head around but.. theres another way todo this effect
if you have a light switch handy u can do a long shutter and flip the light switch on in a completely dark room every o.. 5 seconds or so?
the effect is basically a series of multiple exposures. i hope all this helped..

"30/10 second" ... Does that mean you were in one pose for 30 seconds and in another for 10?
I would use digital instead, but I don't have a digital camera. Well I do, but not a good one; my mom won one at the bank a couple years ago, and it's a piece of shit! ... The alternate method sounds easer, especially considering I'll be using 200 film.
Man I gotta tell ya, I love looking at pictures of you. You're easy on the eyes, if you catch my drift.

thank you.. and i mean it and lol.. and well.. ok try this because its basically what i did
if u really want to get this shot right.. shoot two rolls
on the first roll
write down what u do per frame, like say frame 1 you do a shot for 30 full seconds and the lowest f stop, frame two 20 seconds at the lowest f stop
just make sure you slightly underxpose any of these shots you do.. the reason being because of the longer exposure.. the spots where the film gets double exposed (you have something in the same place for a slightly longer period of time) will turn out blasted as a highlight
anyways. select the best frame out of roll 1 and lookup your notes.. then have fun shooting roll 2
