i forgot to switch from 16 bit color to 8.. and had to end up saving it as a png.. thats why its soooooo huge

Well ... a simple yet very fine image. Skin colour and texture .... wonderful ... can almost feel the surface of his skin. Thanks to good lighting. A good composition ... the curve of his side against the dark sheet. Ian has a flawless skin ... no spots, no blemishes.
Do hope you will upload more eventually.

Actually... for me... dA didn't mess it up... it's probably your posibly un-calibrated monitor. (I was fortunate to inherit one of the best monitors you can buy) so I can see all the true clolours and all that jazz. I LOVE it!
