Seriously. I love the first season of Digimon (Digimon Adventure). The second season fell through (DA 2) but it had some promising stuff.

I liked Daisuke's adorable, well-meaning, occassionally jealous stupidity. I thought he and Takeru worked well as each other's foils, and Takeru's torment of Daisuke--through his friendship with Hikaru--was pretty funny. Not a love triangle, but just funny stuff. It really brought out Takeru's mean streak, which is always fun.

Ah. If I wanted to draw a couple from the first season then it would have been Tai/Koushiro, but that would have been a recipe for instant flames. So here we have Daisuke/Hikari.

I've noticed that when I draw straight couples, I keep everything "clean", but my gay couple drawings tend to be more romantic/sexual. Gotta work on that. Maybe some stronger TamaHaru or 1xR to even out that KyouKao I want to draw, huh?
