finally done...OTLThis one also took two days, but it left me with nothing but a ton of neck and back pain.
Anyways, it's my character, Wolf. I wanted to try a walk cycle for a dog. There are several flaws, but it was just for practice so who cares
I wouldn't have been able to do this without the help of Richard Williams' reference sheet for a dog's walk cycle

It's not a theme. Animals are just a little easier for me to draw compared to humans since I've been drawing dogs and cats ever since I was little. Meanwhile I've only begun learning how to draw humans about one and a half years ago.Β

I'm glad you had fun with this animation.Β The enjoyment one gets from drawing can often be removed by tough deadlines and in class critiques.Β On the other hand, I find I am not likely to finish a project before moving onto the next project without deadlines.Β I guess there is a balance that I need to find in and out of school.

Yeah, sometimes school can ruin something you enjoy with grades and critiques. It does help me when there's deadlines, too, especially since I normally get bored with personal projects and end up forgetting about it.Β
