I use to never do bases, and my art came out alright. Now I do bases all the time and I never really like the finished product. Weird

 you should draw the way you feel comfortable some artist don't even use bases so go ahead and draw the way you find better :3

Issue is, the art came out ALRIGHT, proportions were still severely off. Then I draw with bases though and suddenly I don't have a cohesive art style. I'm stuck in limbo

I mean, before I used full-body bases, I still used circles for things like the head and such, but not much else
