I have just made it to the End of the Future Story in Fusionfall, and am now returning to the past. However, before I go, I am taking pictures of each of the characters who appeared here, for reference.This frontal View of Buttercup includes her Nano and my avatar, James Theox, waving to all of you.
Seriously, if you see me on there, feel free to swing a sword or something at me and yell "YOU! FANFICTION DUDE! GET BACK TO WORK!"

Not sure if anything's changed in Fusionfall, since I haven't played it for a long time now...
(Puts on old man beard and glasses)
But in the early days of the game, once you obtained a certain level, you'd be able to complete a quest that sent you back in time to the present.
If you're talking about the chat above, Here's further info I dug up.
In the present, Buttercup was supposedly missing ever since a fight with Mojo, but could be found by a side quest linking her with an amnesiac chick named Belladonna, eventually reuniting her with the Powerpuffs. I found it slightly anticlimactic since Buttercup was in the future, and thus she was bound to return, thus rending the whole sidequest annoying plot-wise in my eyes. If they hadn't had Buttercup in the future, I could have kept my suspension of disbelief up.
In short: "Oh no, Buttercup's missing? Could she be dead? Oh, no, wait, she was in the future."

yea.. the game is kinda buggy.. my audio keeps going out on me ..i think ill wait on paying for the unlimited account cuz of all the bugs -.-
