what is the technique of a scratchboard , how does it work ?
is it somethin totally black that you scratch of en the scratched of part is then white ?
you shud really check this work, it is also black and white,
based on Picasso's Guernica.

Yes, that is how scratchboard works. My piece was actually scratched into a very dark photocopy on acetate, of one of my abstract monoprints, which I scrated a drawing into and scanned the result.
