Description

Some people, some people, They just Look, Barely enough to stare -
in their disgust, i can hear there ridicule, those whispers,
never noticing the real me. They may look at the clothes I wear,
They may know how I feel. They might think I'm always glad to be who i am,
But there's something they don't know, I'm the one who feels lonely, who feels sad.
They think I always win, family, friends lovers, but i'm really the loser.
They think my life is oh so great, a bed of roses, But if they could live in my shoes for one day,
they would understand my complexity. They may think I'm strong, they may think I'm tough,
But they have no idea how life can bring you down, when you're feeling down when you are lonely and strange,
No one should ever be alone in the night, in the dark......no one..

I'm going back over some artwork, that i feel had no real meaning. Take this Drawing, i see a Sullen Spider mutant figure most likely based on one of my favourite superhero's, The Figure, also drinking, smoking is in some respects myself at some point in the past . At the loss of my Parents that both died young the grief of losing 2 people that gave me life. the drinking and smoking that followed that with bands and music, The loneliness, that i suffered, we all suffer from at some point in our lives. all these emotions swirling over. we all have them, wanting to make a success of our lives, finding love, getting a secure career, wanting fame and fortune. losing love and family members, being bullied, or made fun of because of the way you look of the colour of your skin..i just needed to finish this drawing to what i really wanted to convey. and what i wanted to convey was, it's OK, if you're experiencing loneliness the same as me., i'm no different from you.

On a happier note, Spring is upon us ! well as soon as all these heavy winds have calmed down in the UK and the floods have subsided...Summer is on it's way...
