The photo is really eye-catching - you captured the moment. I like the overall composition, and the contrast is good. It's a pity the DoF is so deep, I think it would have been nice if the background were a bit more out of focus, since it isn't the primary subject.
Love the fact that you kept the golfer's hand in the shot! It brings it back to earth. Great work

sadly that is the shallowiest dof i could have gotten on the situation i was in, i am a fan of bokeh, and want to get a 50mm prime with a 1.4-2.8 f number

I'm ever so happy to have never sold my Zuiko 50mm f/1.4. I have bought me an adapter for my E-420 and taking great pictures with it. Still have the 24mm f/2.8 from Zuiko - which is one of the best around; even for digitals.
If I were you, I'd look for an adapter and a second hand analog lens... if you get used to manual focus and no exif-data (or add them manually [with ExifToolGUI]).

I eventually got a canon 50mm 1.8 which broke recently so I upgraded to the canon 50mm 1.4 USM. I couldn't be happier, it it an AMAZING lens.
My next lens will probably be a 10mm prime or 24 mm prime because i feel my taste shifting towards wider and wider angels.

Then, in light of circumstances, you did a pretty good job overall with this one! I only got the 50mm f/1.8, and I'm pretty happy with it - even if it isn't a prime lens, it's definitely a very good one. It hardly ever comes off my camera
