Short fanfic

Joker relaxed as Prank painted her nails when the door to Joker’s office swung open.

Joker, “Well well, look who finally decided to show up. What took you so long Harvey!?” Harvey stood there in the doorway then Ivy was by his side. “Well hello Pamie, it’s been a dog’s age since I’ve seen you. Did you finally grow tired of him?”

Ivy wrapped her arm around Harvey’s, “No, I came to support him. It was his idea to come here.” Joker and Prank stood.

Joker, “Well I’d love to hear what he has to say.”

Harvey turned from Joker to address Prank, “Dottie, I’ve come to take you away from here.” Both Prank and Joker stood there stunned.

Joker spoke first, “Uh excuse me, it’s me you should be addressing. It’s me who you abandoned for a tree hugger.. no offense Pamela.” Ivy simply rolled her eyes.

Harvey, “You kicked me out, I came back after you put me in the hospital. For the first time.. I realize that I meant nothing to you. I was just a toy.. someone you could push around.. and I won’t have that for my sister.”

Joker mock pretended to be sad, “How could you say that to your puddin. All I ever did was love you and set you free.”

Harvey, “You took advantage of me!.. I was a lonely guy and you saw that.. You played me, made me believe you that you cared about me. Soon you had me breaking you out of Arkham.. giving up everything for you. My career.. my life and even my sanity when you asked me to jump into this chemicals.. it’s over. I know you never loved me, I was just someone you could push around. Pammie cares about me, she’s shown me what it really means to be loved.”

Joker clapped her hands, “Bravo, bravo.. what an excellent performance Harv but let’s face it. This is all temporary and you’ll come crawling back like you did last time. What would you be without me?”

Harvey looked at Ivy and she smiled at him. Harvey turned back to Joker and replied, “I’m Harvey King and I don’t need you anymore. I’ve come to take my sister away from here. No one should have to be subjected to the abuse you put out.”

Joker and Prank simply laughed at him. Ivy squeezed Harvey’s hand to let him know she was still there. This gave him strength. “Come on Dottie, we’re leaving.”

Prank, “You can go if you want but I’m staying. All I ever wanted to be is like the Joker.. now I work for her! This is a dream come true for me.”

Harvey, “She is nothing but a murderous laughing harpie. She’ll turn on you at the first opportunity.”

Prank, “She’s the Joker moron! Of course she will. She is perfect.. she’s chaotic.. She is a woman who truly knows the meaning of life. Joker tried to tell you but you never understood but I do. And I’m prepared to do whatever it takes to help her.”

Joker laid her hand on Prank’s shoulder, “As you can see Harv, your sister has been a marvelous replacement. She just does what she’s told and doesn’t want anything in return. She gets it unlike you. You were always sooo clingy and wanting affection.”

Harvey, “I was blind and sought affection from a woman who could care less about me. You were always obsessed with Batman.. it’s him whom you want, he is the one you're in love with but you’ll never have him. Batman could never be with a clown like you. ”

Joker whipped out her gun and fired at Harvey. He pushed Ivy aside and ran from the gun fire.

Harvey, “You know I’m right, I’ve seen how angry you make him every time you hurt or kill people. It wouldn’t surprise me if he winds up killing you someday.” Joker screamed at Harvey and finally hit him in the leg. Harvey fell and grabbed his leg.

Joker, “I think you’ve overstayed your welcome..”

Prank, “I agree, mistress.”

From behind two plant vines wrapped themselves around Joker and Prank. The vines tighten their grip causing joints to pop.

Poison Ivy, “Don’t touch him! Harv, are you alright?”

Harvey stood up weakly, “Yeah, I’m good.”

Joker, “Let me go you pansy loving witch!”

Poison Ivy, “Now dear, even you aren’t crazy enough to call me names when you're held so tightly in my vines grip.” The vine tightened more.

Joker, “I get the point Pamela…”

Harvey, “Would ya mind releasing my sister Pammie?”

Prank was released and stood there before Harvey.

Harvey, “Dottie, for the last time. Come with me, we’re family..”

Prank, “I don’t need family, far as I’m concerned I don’t have a family. I was always expected to follow in your footsteps and they led me here. I found where I belong and I’m not giving it up.”

Harvey shook his head, “You understand now what your doing sis..”

Prank, “Yes I do now get out.”

Harvey was disappointed but he left with Ivy.

Poison Ivy, “I’m sorry Harv, you tried.”

Harvey smiled, “Yeah.. who knows, maybe she’ll figure it out by herself. Well at least I’ve got you Pammie.”

Poison Ivy kissed his cheek, “Let’s go on a long vacation Harv, I think we’ve earned it.”

Harvey’s eyes lit up, “Yippee! Where are we going?”

Meanwhile hours later in Joker’s Office, the Joker sat at her desk brooding. Harvey’s words earlier had really affected her. “Batman could never be with a clown like you.” He had said.. Why was this bothering her? Batman was fun, he could take everything she threw at him. It was a thrill to be chased by him.. a game of cat and mouse.. could it be that she had real feelings for him? Sure it was fun to flirt with him, it was easy to throw him off with her feminine charms. Then there was that kiss.. oh that kiss.. Joker felt herself melting then she suddenly realized the truth.

Joker, “Uh Ohhh.. I think I have a problem.”
