The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug comes out today!I had to do a piece to celebrate the sequel. Iām especially excited to see the depiction of Smaug the dragon by mister Cumberbatch.

Ā I can't stop imagine a modern AU where Smaug is actually a great and popular actor with highs powers so he looks like an human. But one time he gets reaaaally angry at someone whom speaks bad to him...

But seriously, this is gorgeously drawn, and you just know Smaug would wear a suit if he could fit into one. I especially love the glowing nostrils and the smoke.
