I feel like there's something familiar about this beautiful girl.
Neat how her reflection gives the viewer a better idea of her shape, sort of plants a 3D image in your mind when you combine them.

Compared to the closer cropped B&W, I don't know.
The B&W is more intense, this one is a great reflection.

SeverinR, both images contain the "essence" that is the magic here. It is the essence of a moment in time, shared with my friend and model Tammy, that will never come back. The way the natural window light shimmers in her eye, the way the mirror added a little something, her inscrutable expression, whatever thoughts she was having at that instant, the way her hair fell just right. All one-time things that will never come together just like that again as the Universe charges inexorably forward and away from this special moment. That is one thing I love about photography; it captures a precious moment in time or interaction with an amazing person, and keeps it; allows me to share it with thousands of people who were not there. It's a truly magic medium.

I was about to say that I've never ever tied-up Tammy, but then I remembered that in previous photo shoots I have handcuffed her and hung her from a noose... well in fact she hung herself. Gee, that all sounds bad, but I think those were bonding experiences for us

It's humorous that you see Tammy as tied-up here; must be conditioning based on some of my other images. Actually, in this one I think her hands were busy simply holding up the heavy mirror

You know, the FAVs do agree with you, and I chose it for the first- so you know I like it a lot. But, I really like the fourth one just as much, which is why I ended with it.

My first thought was to use the mirror just as a reflector to provide secondary light from below, but of course that reflection was too pretty to not include it in the shot.

Yes, Tammy does have a very young look, such nice skin. she's in her 20s, but looks like a teenager in many shots.
