I see a very well composed shot. The blacks, grays and white elements are visually well thought of, even her choice of clothes makes for a very good toned scheme for a black and white photo.

Then I guess my work on the file paid off, those were all elements I considered and nurtured to make this image have the feel I wanted it to have. The dark tonalities were intended to bond the model, the chess board, and the viewer, leaving the rest of the world out. The viewer can feel like he/she is right there alone with Miss Fawn, wondering what moves she might be preparing to play. Her brilliant decision to reach for the opponent's pieces was the thing that really gave the shot it's playfully and alluring flavor.
