Funny, to me the lighting situation looks very nice and contributes very well to the pic's atmosphere.

The fogging and brightening effects in the upper middle don't look too good to me. Also, showing just a little empty space in a corner or something can really look cool.
For what seemed from the info to be an experimental art piece, this is pretty good.
