Lets not mince words here, this movie is not great...but it’s also really great. It’s one of those.
It’s really trashy, very low budget, it doesn’t have the production value of higher budget werewolf movies. But it goes so far on the other direction, with a strong mix of self-awareness and grindhouse fun that it shoots through the Moon and becomes awesome again.
I’m starting to feel more comfortable about my Diamond Dog form. You guys make me feel so happy and fuzzy, literally. You’re all great. Oh and, don’t worry about the pistol, I know how to handle my piece.

This one was super satisfying to draw, in all honesty.
I loved drawing that revolver, that doughnut, her chill have-zero-cares-in-the-world pose, her outfit, just everything. As I said in the past, I like to draw Doggie Slate to unwind during a stressful time, and this one helped a lot. Look at all that chest fluff, it's ridiculous and out of control, holyshit.
We have a lot of garbage werewolf movies out there, so we're not seeing the last of Doggie Slate, not by a long shot.
