For this week's personal project, we kick off October with Bloodborne.

So this year I won't be doing any event for the month, no daily drawing, none of that. Last year I came real close to burning out, got to the point where I was struggling to even do my own work. It stopped being fun, especially submitting to the peer pressure and the FOMO. So this year I'm saying nuts to that and instead I'm going to theme my personal projects around Bloodborne, which is a videogame I very much enjoy.

I didn't want to start with the creatures right away (oh no, those come later), so instead I went with Eileen. I was originally going to draw her all actiony and cool, but that'd be a disservice to the character. Sure, Eileen is a boss, but she's at her coolest when she's just standing there, the calm before the storm that's more certainly coming the way of any Hunter that has beasted out. This one was fun, and I even managed to get it done in a relatively short amount of time.
