For this week's personal project, I felt like drawing a fake Pokémon...not realizing it'd be the first project of December and it won't be Christmas related. Ah well.

I won't lie or sugar coat it, and I'll just say that this one was a righteous pain in my neck. It may look finished from the thumbnail, or if you're looking at it on the screen of a Nokia 3100, but this piece gave me a ton of troubles from minute one. I was not particularly burnt out, nor was I unsure of the idea, or even the pose, but for some reason the thing kept fighting me the entire time. To the point where when I was done with it I threw my hands up, turned around, and did nothing but watch YouTube videos until I went to sleep.

Why? To be honest, I don't know. Maybe it's the eyes that are cursing me the more I look at them. In the end, the picture is done, and doing something is better than doing nothing!
