I seriously don't understand the people who hate Cadence.Is it because she is pink? Because she was never introduced until "A Canterlot Wedding"? Or is it because she has more character development than Celestia and all that rage is envy?
That last statement is my opinion. I like every Alicorn that's appeared in the show.

I used to write Cadence, but for quite a while I've been using Cadence.
With time I also learnt that both names are okay and so I respect those who decide to use them and never get out of my way to correct them.

Well, as a person who considers Cadence the second best pony I still have to say that she hasn't come through any significant development. She had her wedding story - yes - she showed a character there, yes. And something similar with the Crystal empire. But seriously, character development looks different. That means she changes based on circumstances. Nothing like that happened to Cadence.
