From left to right we have:

Nova, as a regular magical pony: This one was quick and to the point. It was a good warm-up, plus Nova's design is really pleasing to the eyes. Not excessive but not boring either. He's a good OC, for me at least.

Nova, the Mad Scientist: I had Doctor Insano in mind when drawing this one. Nova is a technomancer, basically a magic user that specializes in technology and machinery, so his main ability is to work with machines, and get them to do whatever he wants. This one took a little bit, but I think the result was worth it. Drawing those lightnings, and the exaggerated shadows, and everything was a lot of fun. Very rarely I get to draw things like this.

Nova, the Wasteland denizen: Fallout has been big lately, hasn't it? I wonder why (pst, I know why, sush). I never figured out how the guns in Fallout Equestria are supposed to work. Nevertheless, Nova is using his magic to handle that revolver like a pro. Good weapon of choice, revolvers kill everything in their way. Had some fun with the background on this one. I kind of regret not adding more to it, but I think it would've made the drawing too busy.

I really enjoyed doing these traditional pictures. It was a breath of fresh air, and gave me some time to relax and decompress from all the digital work I have left to do. After doing these I'll have to replace a couple of my markers. One of them dried out entirely in the process of shading the third picture. That's perhaps the downside of traditional, it can get quite pricey to do.
