Request drawn for during the fundraising stream to help #TheoSeraphimus

I have never watched RWBY, and I have no idea what the show is about, but after doing this picture I might consider giving it a watch. I'm very picky when it comes to anime, and I find it difficult to get into any nowadays, but I'm willing to give this one a shot. It seems quite interesting, what with the massive weapons, the fight scenes, and the fact that it has inspired so many people out there. Something that has so much love and dedication around it has to be worth my time.

This is really out of what I'm used to draw, but I seized it with both hands and I feel somewhat satisfied with the end result. That scythe took a little bit to figure out, especially the shading. I'm not so used to draw metal, but I think I'm getting there. This wasn't going to have a background, but I decided to add some splotches of red for the sake of making it more visually interesting. If you guys like it, I will be more than happy to draw more in the future. Personally I'm quite happy I managed a picture like this in such short notice, and without knowing much of the source material.

I hope you guys enjoy my rendition of Ruby Rose, I hope I made her character justice. Please, feel free to let me know what you think of it in the comments!
