This painting was one of the reasons i decided to buy the Procreate app. So glad I did because I love it. Beautiful job! How long did it take you to complete it and do you remember what kinds of brushes you used?

Thanks man. It took about two weeks of occasional painting whilst testing out new Procreate features.
I made a custom brush for the fur. It was an awesome brush which allowed me to rapidly layer up the fur. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted the brush when I erased the development build of Procreate I was using. Witout the brush I couldn't finish the neck area. I tried recreating the brush, but nothing came close to the original fur brush. So I decided to erase theΒ neck colour-block and leave the painting unfinished.Β

What stylus do you use? I got Pogo recently but I can't imagine that I will be able to do something like that with it..

You do realize that James is part of SI (Savage Interactive). The people that made Procreate Β in fact he is the co-founder. When you do a search on google you see a lot of articles including a great video on how they created Procreate.

you just use the same color as the rest of the fur, but you make a highlight layer for all your highlights and make it brighter.
