Haha, don't be scared. Even if you don't enter the contest, it's still something to practice on. I've been doing this for a while, but my color skills have improved a lot in recent months.

no, it's more assessing your opponents and seeing if you have a chance at victory. I am still trying to get my cell shading down and my more realistic colors.
this piece has nice smooth flow and the colors bounce out at you without anything really blurring. my deffinitions still have trouble, though maybe my own line work isn't dark enough? either way- if I can't win I'd rather practice on subjects I like.
not a bad gallery, your dragon is interesting. check out my own gallery, I have color stuff in there too, just not at this level. that's all. with a chance of victory you compete, but without it and lacking the drive there is little point to it. I'm not really a big "li" fan. now if it had been cammy or juri... well, that I might have played with regardless.

I played sfiv recently. it was fun.

I think I actually did play that briefly, but with no one to play against, it was boring fast.

I test myself against the cpu at different difficulties trying to use the special moves. don't always have people to play. think I'm too good at fighting games. and those that don't are too good at them themselves.

Yeah I'm usually more of a shooter / adventure gamer myself. Modern Warfare, Battlefield, Bioshock, GTA, Red Dead Redemption, etc.

I like adventrue but am horrible at shooters. then I like fighters. mortal kombat, street fighter. resident evil or god of war for adventures.

Not a Playstation guy, so God of War is out for me. I used to enjoy Resident Evil, but I've moved away from that, since you can't move and shoot at the same time.

I generally don't like guns. resident evil and predator are more the exceptions then the rule. only shooter type I actually enjoyed was the new avp game. and only as the alien because you could stealth kill everything in horribly violent ways. kind of like a ninja with teeth.

as for the single battle mode keep an eye out next week. you have to fav the single battle mode week 3 pic to be eligible to do battle. then all the favs get randomised and make up the battles.
after the vs screens are put up the character will be chosen for the battle.
if you can put color battle at instead of art contest that would be greatly appreciated, if not, no problem at all.
