FreedomThe year is 2164. My great great great great granddaughter is enjoying time alone on a deserted beach. Her UFO technology equipped starship hovers silently just above the sand. Feeling suddenly and deeply elated she extends her arms in gratitude and Love towards the sun as it sets. Being alive in a post-scarcity world is indescribably blissful.
Imagine a post-scarcity future in which money, work, war, hunger and poverty don't exist and in which people are truly free. An uncountably vast number of technologically and spiritually advanced Starfaring civilizations throughout the universe have already achieved this level of existence and so shall we.

Your art is incredible and uplifting!
I'd like to share a few thoughts if you don't mind: although it seems possible that that would be the positive turnout version of the fate of humanity, I think it would come much later than 2164. Considering the comatose state of the masses and their overall apathy towards their peers and the actions of the corrupt ruling elite that run the show, it is safe to say that humanity is far from ready to evolve in that sense.
Techonology is dangerous in the hands of fools and the ignorant, and we live in an age with exponential technological advancement while the individual human is becoming more and more estranged and disconected with him/herself. It's a matter of balance, human civilization can only reach to a certain point when the techonolgical knowledge far exceeds the level of spiritual awareness. According to Plato, that was the cause of the fall of Atlantis, civilizations rise and fall, we can only get to a certain point, a peak, and then the unavoidable collapse or downfall occurs. At the moment we are resigned corporate slaves, in denial at best, consumers, treated like cattle. We have more things than ever before, we live in our warm little cocons, comfort and materialism, a culture of excess and over-indulgence, and as a result we are more depressed than ever.
Many people admire and look up to people like Elon Musk, and I'm not saying they shouldn't, but the way I see it, an endeavour to colonize space and planets at this time is a very, very bad idea. We may be developping the technology for it but we are incapable of living in harmony with our home planet and the fellow members of our kind, imagine the terror of Mars when it sees us coming. It's like giving a gun to a toddler, we are toddlers on the evolutionary scale (but our ego and sense of self-importance wont admit to that), and we first need to graduate from our little kindergarten before playing on the big kids' court.

I want to stay optimistic because I believe in the best of humanity, although the things that I witness nowadays are more than enough to discourage me and make me want to retreat in the wilderness.

Thanks so much for your comments. I understand your arguments and you could well be right. However things can change unexpectedly and very quickly. I would cite the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Collapse of the Soviet Union as two examples that most people never expected to happen in their lifetimes. In fact, when I was a teenager in the 70s and 80s, I expected to be killed in a nuclear war before I was 30. Also although most people are brainwashed and unaware, as I certainly was, personal transformation can happen very fast once the hypnotic spell is broke. Ironically the deep state is creating higher and higher levels of negativity, stress and pressure which are actually helping and accelerating the awakening process. Despite all the seeming chaos and human drama that is presented to us nightly on the mainstream media, Β the world is a beautiful place and most people are good at heart.Β
perhaps all civilizations go through growing pains but the vast majority evolve and mature, and Iβm sure we will too.Β

Thanks for your reply. It made me realize that I failed to focus on the positive. Whether it occurs during my lifetime or not, I hope humanity will be more united and less living in fear, prejudice and ignorance. I hope for a free and conscious humanity.
