Description
Living in the New ParadigmΒ
A vision of the near future. After much pain, humanity has made the shift into a new paradigm. Science and spirituality have joined forces to explore the inner and outer realms. It is a time of adventure and wonders. Free, clean abundant energy, "UFO" technology and a change of consciousness has propelled mankind into a post scarcity mode of being. Centralized governments, war and poverty are becoming distant memories as people enjoy the freedom to explore their talents and creativity.Β
In this image, set somewhere in the Andes mountains, a community lives a very healthy and beautiful life immersed in nature. Nature provides clean air and water and also abundant food. There is no need for a supermarket. Many edible fruits, nuts, berries and vegetables have been carefully cultivated amongst the trees. And yet, thanks to "UFO" technology, global and space travel is available to everyone. Passports and visas are not required.
In order to manifest the world we want for ourselves and future generations, we must first imagine it. As an artist, I like to stimulate the imagination and present a utopian vision of the future to myself and others. The corporate mainstream media and the entertainment industry most often paints a very dark dystopian vision of the future. It is interesting as to how and why it is, that the vast majority have been programmed, so deeply, by our materialistic corporate producer-consumer culture, to scoff at and ridicule the very idea of utopia.
I want to thank my beautiful and talented DeviantArt friend Nahualli del Cielo (IndigoStar86) for helping me visualize such a future and for allowing me to draw her image in this drawing.
Size A4 ink and colored pencil on smooth card.
Note: If you want to order this print on a mug, you can go to a duplicate image further down in my gallery. For some reason, I can't make this particular image available as prints or art gifts.

This image has a strong positive impact, at least for me π
The area is so beautiful I wish I could live there. The dancing beauty is a perfect expression of happiness.
I like your description as well, life can be so much simpler, without losing touch with the universe. Let's hope this future is not too far away...

I don't scoff at the idea of a utopia, in fact I'm working on a novel right now called "Benevolence" that depicts a utopian island society as it's main focus, kind of like in Island by Aldous Huxley and Islandia by Austin Tappan Wright.

Secondly:.. Thanks for your comment. I was very pleased to read it. I'd like to read your book when it's finished. Have you read Anastasia by Vladimir Megre?

No I haven't ever read Anastasia by Vladimir Megre, but my novel probably won't be finished until next year, especially seeing as how I haven't even started it yet. I'm actually still working on my debut novel The World Beyond. And yes, if you want I will send it to you!

This is a great piece! Very eye catching and wonderfully detailed! Your foliage shows beautiful texture. The curves of your walkways and buildings help your eye flow effortlessly around the artwork. Beautiful! I can't wait to check out the rest of your gallery!

Thanks so much for your beautiful and positive comments about this drawing.
You really and truly made my day. Bless you!
I read that you lost your father in 2012. I'm glad to hear that you are starting to get your motivation back for doing art again. I saw your gallery and you have a beautiful gift. Now the wind is back in your sails, I'm looking forward to seeing where it will take you.
