You booted a PC in an abandoned building? Like what? Did they not turn of the electricity? Did you find something interesting on that PC?

Yes, the electricity was still on but it was my friend that turned on the computer. Β I don't remember going through it and to be honest I am not sure it even finished booting up.

Wow. I would have been way too curious to not at least try going through a few directories.

There is never enough time, I try to spend most of my time taking photos when at these places. Some of them would take weeks to go through everything thoroughly.

Wow.
That was a while ago.
Best left behind, too.
A know a guy who recently retired after serving for years as the I.T. director at a federal prison, and he told me back then that the Dept. of Justice stopped giving security approvals for anything after Windows NT 4 Service Pack 6; there were so many security holes and known virus threats that the DOJ just gave up.
He would get a kick out of this one.

Feel free to send him the link to my photo. Β This shot was taken like 7 years ago.

I sent the image to my retired I.T. director-friend.
This is what he had to say:
"Probably still does what they need it to do...barely. Β LOL"
