As I approached this abandoned ranch house that was likely built in the 50s or 60s, I really had no idea what to expect. Would it be interesting, would it be a time capsule or would it be completely trashed inside, you never know until you take a closer look. As I walked inside I could not believe my eyes, there were all sorts of religious artifacts throughout the home including a large 8 foot wooden cross and the previous owners had left everything behind!! As I looked around trying to piece things together, I found kids drawings, school desks and a kitchen still fully stocked with dishes and food.

It turns out that a new church with a small congregation likely bought the property a number of years ago to try and create something bigger. At some point in 2017 they had saved enough money to to move into a larger space and when they did, it seems as though they didn't take anything with them leaving this former church to sit abandoned. Unfortunately since that time the basement has flooded and destroyed anything that was down there and the mold has started to take hold of this building.
